Verona comes in ivory organza or white textured linen, which reveal the sugared almonds inside. Verona fabric is made in Italy. It is sold by the roll. Each roll makes 50 favors.
Do not use large Jordan almonds for Verona. Our almonds will fit the pockets. Use good scissors for cutting, tweezers to grab the strings, and a simple glue gun to finish the seams if desired.
To make Verona bomboniera favors, snip off a length of the imported Italian two-ply ribbon with five segments. Place one almond inside each pocket. Grabbing hold of the ends of two tension strings sewn into the lip, pull the material gently away from the strings at one end. Repeat on the other side. Tie a secure knot and hot glue the fabric seams if necessary. Decorate!
